|Travel|:: A weekend in Opatija △ Croatia ::

A weekend getaway is always a good idea. It's usually only two days, but it feels more + it definitely helps you "charge the batteries" so you can perform at your best on Monday when you're back at work/uni. ;) I was discovering Opatija recently and was pleasantly surprised. I've been there only once before and even that just for a quick stop, so I didn't really have a feeling how big it is or what it can offer you. I was without my camera, because of a long story I won't bother you with, so I had to do all the magic with my iPhone. Lately I've been more active on Instagram and less on the blog, so lots of photos are Igpimped -  square shapes. :) Haha, if you would only know in how bad shape my phone is, you would appreciate this photos even more. Let's say battery holds for about an hour. Depends on how many photos I make or how much I'm social media active. :)

Two days is enough to walk around and enjoy the views, cafes, restaurants and shops. Despite being lucky with sunny days, it's still felt like early spring, so swimming was out of the game. I'm a summer child, I need high temperatures to be brave.

FOODIES HAVE TO VISIT BEVANDA RESTAURANT
The Food in the restaurant is delicious!

Bevanda is great. Don't think, book. You'll love it! They also have a great bar if you fancy a cocktail or two. Food is delicious, staff is kind, rooms are super comfy with great views. Everything is close, so you can easily walk everywhere. The only downside would be a super small parking lot, but even that shouldn't concern you, since they take care of everything, even move cars for you so you can drive in/out. So, this is the best I got out of the photos, but I think it's enough. I can't tell you everything anyway, since there need to be something left for you to discover on your own.  ;)

Love, M.
